The Narrative Practitioner
Developing Excellence in Research, Education and Practice

Conference

The Narrative Practitioner

The Narrative Practitioner has organized two very successful conferences that have brought together professionals and practitioners who share an interest in the use of narrative and storytelling in a range of contexts, including pedagogy, practice, research and performance.

This year the conference moves to Keele University in North Staffordshire. The primary focus of this year’s conference is Narrative, Health and Social Justice. As such it reflects the increasing interest in the use of narrative to understand the experience of health and illness, healthcare interactions and health institutions and the role of narrative in both promoting and curtailing social justice in everyday life, in general, and health encounters in particular.
